Holy Week

holding-hands-280x310-cb158-06182014.jpgThe Journey to Jerusalem Around the world Christians are getting reading for High Point of our Celebrations, The Holy Triduum.  All the celebrations and seasons of the Church Year starting in Advent find their resolution as Jesus enters Jerusalem in Triumph (Palm/Passion Sunday, March 29th); celebrates the Last Supper with his friends (Maundy Thursday, April 2nd) and then dies on the Cross (Good Friday, April 3rd).

At St. Matthew, we have special events for each of these events. We celebrate these services in an organic, earthy way with a special food for each!

The Journey does not end in Jerusalem! Early on the first day of the week, the most astounding event in world history took place, New Creation in the midst of the present world order: RESURRECTION!  In this grand event, which is so much more than a rescusitation of Christ's physical body, the Church celebrates that already all things are being made new!

To discover how this "newness" can tranform you, come check out our Holy Week services discover the meaning and purpose of this, the most important season of all!

At St. Matthew we believe that the Great Tradition and modern knowledge are not in opposition but essential parts to our common journey.

Come learn the ancient/new ways of thoughtful, committed faith and experience the fulfillment that such a journey promises!
